Happy Thursday, y’all. TinyTown is sunny and clear, and if things in the forecast are correct, it’s going to be a fucking gorgeous day.
After Shawshank left for work, I spent half the afternoon playing Just Dance. I broke a high score on a song that I’ve been struggling with since the last season. I really have to laugh every time someone posts to the game’s subreddit asking how do I get higher scores, I’m dancing just fine? These people just can’t fathom that this is like any other skill or game. They expect to open up the game and instantly do a routine. It might be the cheapest dance teacher you’ll get, but you need to fucking practice the routine. Not helping matters are people who leave replies like “I’ve been playing since the original JD, I can get a MEGASTAR on an extreme map on the first try”. Good for you, dancing queen, but not everyone has been playing since they were in diapers.
If tonight anything like last night, Shawshank might enjoy a closing shift outside again. I should have gone outside and played last night, but didn’t. In an effort to avoid any potential excuses, I put the leviwand on the charger last night so it has a full charge for today. I should put the pod poi on the cables as well, just in case the flow hits me.
