Hello, world. I’m pretty sure it’s Tuesday, but who really knows these days. Pippin has already convinced Shawshank to carry her and her little table to the back door so she can properly surveil her lands.
Ubisoft dropped a handful of new songs on Just Dance yesterday, so I spent most of the morning dancing. I played for a bit before lunch, ate, then played for another hour. While I have a fucking blast playing, I can’t understand the fandom. The Just Dance subreddit is fucking wild. Some of it, I can understand their frustration. The series changed format with the 2023 release, and the older online service is shutting down. There’s a subset of people who are trying to push Ubisoft to reopen servers for the old service. They’ve made Reddit polls. They want petitions. They can’t play [insert ⭐favorite song⭐ from 2013 that’s only available via the online service] and their lives will never fucking be the same.
There is also a handful of people who constantly whine about scoring. I did the move perfectly, why did the game only rate it OK? BECAUSE YOU DIDN’T DO IT PERFECTLY, SKYLAR. JFC, it’s not difficult to understand. I played against another player and I think I should have scored 90% better. Think whatever you want. You weren’t better. Or, my personal favorite post, How do I get better? I just bought the game and I suck. MY BROTHER IN CHRIST.
Let’s not get into the idea of Just Dance “lore”.
Today, I’m working. I need to take some pics, and I have some theme ideas. Shawshank‘s working the mid shift, so I have all day to commit hijinks.
