Sleeping in was a fluke, and I’ve been up. I didn’t expect it to be anything other than a random freak miracle, but part of me hoped it marked a biological reset of sorts. This morning is sunny, and both cats have already made their way to the little table to soak it in.
I did a bunch of pants work yesterday. Four pairs of pants received their elastic, and I gathered and pinned the waistbands on another two more. The weird vintage children’s print was supposed to be for me, but something weird happened with the crotchal region and I’m not sure I like them. This is the second kiddie print I haven’t liked once I’ve finished (the first being the Thomas pants I finished a couple of weeks ago), but at least I only paid $0.50 for this fabric. On the other hand, I love the striped and spotted ones. Both feel incredibly nice compared to the others.
You know what would be helpful? A mannequin. Legs.
Today’s weather looks like it might be nice enough to play outside this afternoon. I’ll try to get out there and play if there’s sun.
