Hello, from a very wet Tiny town. The rain is a relatively new development, coming in yesterday afternoon. The wind hasn’t stopped, nor does it look like there’s any relief in the near future. Shit might calm down towards the end of the week. Maybe Friday, if we’re lucky. Friday’s way over there, at the other end of the week.

Yesterday was pretty dismal, and the dreariness kept me couchlocked. I assumed a human form later than normal, then played about 35 minutes of Just Dance. I wasn’t feeling it and forced myself to finish the playlists I started. Not wanting to play the same ol’ playlists, I didn’t play the shit I’m really good at, but the stuff I’m meh, ok with. It went ok. After lunch – Italian bread and some Italian dressing – I ended up running a couple of dungeons in Torchlight II. Shawshank came home in the afternoon, and I ended up taking a nap with him.

Since the weather’s so shitty and I can’t take catalog pics, I’m planning to sit down at the sewing machine for a while at some point today. While it might be easier to only add 3-4 pairs of pants to the shop at a time, there’s no reason I can’t finish what I’ve got in the works. If I really wanted to be proactive, I could create inactive listings for the items now. Once the weather clears, I could add pics and activate the listings.

At the moment, I have three pairs of pants pinned and waiting for cuffbits. I conducted a slight experiment with a pair I kept for myself, and added hook and eye closures to the insides at the side seams. Clipping the hooks closed “shortens” the pants by about ~3″, and gives them a pretty blousy effect. I’m considering adding it as an option on Etsy when I load the new inventory.

Shawshank‘s working the late shift for the next few nights. I’m going to assume my human form and we’ll chill until it’s time for him to leave, then I’ll fire up the Switch and play Just Dance for a while. If I’m in the mood, I’ll stream some flow stuff. This is the perfect weather for turning on the blacklight. And I’m going to have chicken tenders for dinner.
