Good morning, world. It’s another morning. I’m awake. Not happy about it, but it is what it is. I woke up a little on the early side, probably about 3:30am the first time. After that, all bets were off, and nothing else mattered. I felt like half my body wanted sleep, and the other half was more of the opinion of LET’S DO CRIME. I don’t think I hydrated enough yesterday.

What did I do yesterday? Once I assumed the human form, I played some Just Dance. I got through two playlists, not too bad. After that, I ate a bagel and I went outside for half an hour and spun poi on the patio, barefoot and in the sunshine. Then, I devoted the rest of my morning to working on two pairs of pants for myself. In fact, I was still working on them when Shawshank came home from work. They’re not quite finished, but one pair only needs the final trip through the sewing machine.

While Shawshank napped, I finished the main quest line in Torchlight II. I figured it was coming, as I was pretty sure I’d beaten the sub-boss the last time I played. It was rather anticlimactic, maybe because it’s such a linear game with so few quests to flesh out the story. I reached the end and sort of went huh, ok, that’s it I guess. I remember a similar feeling with one of the Diablo games.

Shawshank woke up, and I parked my ass back on the floor with a bunch of hair. I had a variety of lengths and thicknesses, as I wanted that wild, woodland hag look. More are just plain locs, but there’s a fair amount of loose curls and braids. Installing them into the back is an absolute pain in the ass. I took a break for dinner, but otherwise kept going. Eventually, Shawshank left me on the floor and went to bed. It took another 45 minutes, but I finished up (and picked up most of my mess!) before bed.

My arms are screaming at me this morning.
