Morning, y’all. It’s been slowly warming here as the weekend passes. It was around -25 yesterday, and only -5 this morning. As long as the wind stays down, it’s not as brutal. Hopefully the truck starts.
We didn’t leave the house yesterday. Instead, Shawshank played No Man’s Sky and I did absolutely fuck-all. After lunch, I took the black polish off my nails, repainted them blue, then napped. Chaucer laid on my legs and didn’t move. This seems to be my new weekend routine, and so far, we’re ok with that. Later, Shawshank made a dinner of poutine and popcorn chicken. Packages of this shit are the greatest invention to reach the freezer section. I edited a some TikTok videos. I am lazy.
Shawshank is kicking off the weekly laundry, and later he’ll make us brunch. Chaucer is patiently waiting for him to return to the couch so he can climb onto his lap. I have a lot of pics to watermark and even more to upload and schedule. We’re going to Shady Acres for dinner tonight, and I want to have things watermarked before we’re there. If I finish editing and upload everything before we leave, I’ll have plenty of work to keep me busy while we’re there.
