in the air

Good morning, y’all. Happy Sunday. The sun’s up, and I’ve been awake since around 5:30am. Chaucer snuggled with me while I did phone things.

We didn’t do much of anything yesterday. This wasn’t a shopping weekend for us, so we have no reason to go out. Shawshank walked to the store for milk. The weather was gorgeous, and I spent some time outside with the ol’ balls and shaft. I spun poi for a while, and even attempted a quick live stream while I was outside. Unfortunately, the wifi couldn’t handle streaming outside, so I killed the feed. I played with the wand for a bit, but the wind had picked up since I’d started, forcing me back inside after half an hour.

I’d left Shawshank inside playing No Man’s Sky, and found him playing Torchlight II when I returned. I’d already opened about half of the map he was in, so I pointed things out and offered unsolicited advice. Eventually, we swapped. We both wish it had a local 2-player game mode. I only napped for five minutes. Impressive.

Sunday is chores and brunch, and if the breeze stays quiet, maybe I can go outside again.
