The work phones were finally fixed, then they went down again. Then the systems started to go down. By then, everything sucked and nothing was accomplished. An hour before close, I looked at StressedRPh, gestured at the piles of work we each had and asked, “so, how early do you want me to come in tomorrow?” I stayed a little later in an attempt to finish what was left of Tuesday’s work and set up a bit for today’s work.
I didn’t want to do anything when I finally left work. Instead of the chicken wraps I planned to have, I hit Wendy’s and grabbed dinner. Shawshank told me to take a hot shower and pour a drink before the debate started. We watched a bit of the debate together, then had a nice video chat for a little while.
I’ll be in work an hour early today, and I don’t expect it to be a good day. DayTech is coming in a little early. The weather is pretty nasty out this morning, and there’s power outages. Bad weather typically keeps people out of the pharmacy, so we may be able to stem the tide for a little while.
Have a good morning, folks. It’s time for me to put on some pants.
Pants are overrated. But speaking as a farmer, pants are needed when you’re working in the fields.
