Before Sunrise

I woke up way before my alarm this morning. I don’t know what it was. Maybe I heard a noise, or was too warm, or maybe a cat walked across me. Maybe it was a continuation of the rising panic I felt last night, when I first went to bed, and I suddenly wondered if it really was trash day or if I was the only house with trash outside. Regardless of exactly why I was a wake at 3:49 am, I checked the status of everyone else’s trash and went back to sleep.

Our agent called yesterday afternoon to keep me updated on things. There’s been no new developments, unfortunately. She’s very frustrated with the buyer’s agent, who was supposed to give us updated paperwork on various things, but hasn’t. We have solid info that the funding was approved, and everything just hinges on the appraisal right now.

Today is both a workout and a human day. I’m writing up my workout, since that’s definitely happening. I don’t need to leave the house today, but I should at least pretend to be human. Even if that is just wearing something that’s I haven’t slept in, it’s good to pretend. Fake it until you make it.

Or, fake it at least until I’ve brought the trash bins back into the backyard. Ain’t no one in this neighborhood that wants and/or needs to see me running around the property in a sheep onesie.

Unfortunately, no one’s biting on the stuff I listed for sale yesterday. One person messaged asking about how many drawers a dresser had; three is not enough, I guess, because she won’t take it. Someone else messaged me about another dresser for sale, questioning the measurements. I confirmed one dimension for her, and she said “Oh, I’ll need help then, it’s an inch too big for my trunk”. Um, ok then? If you find someone who can haul it, let me know, but I’m not holding it until you do.
