Thursday, Friday, Wednesday, who knows anymore.

Good morning, my internet friends. I woke up and could not, for the life of me, remember what day it was. The week has been dead, and days are blurring together. Yesterday’s shift was terrible, but mostly because it was so slow. There’s only so much time we can spend stocking supplies.

The governor announced that everything will remain shut down until May. One of Shawshank‘s letters, dated March 31st, said they hoped to reopen visitation on April 14th. While that would be awesome, it’s not going to happen. At least two of the CO’s that work there are regular patients of ours, and I asked one how the facility was doing. He confirmed what Shawshank was told, they check everyone upon entry, and anyone even the slightest bit unhealthy isn’t allowed in. Also, they’ve had no cases among the inmates. It was nice to know they’re not just blowing smoke up the detainees’ asses. There’s a massive outbreak in a Chicago jail, and it’s terrifying to think it could happen here.

I did what I set out to do yesterday. After a completely dead shift, I went home and did an hour-long workout. That felt good, if only because I pushed through when I just wasn’t feeling it, and the cats wanted me to feed them. Dinner was good, and I cleaned a little bit of the living room.

This morning, another trip to the post office. Tonight, maybe another workout. I haven’t decided yet. I haven’t decided on dinner, either. If I don’t take anything out of the freezer, it will be sweet potato bowls. Maybe, I’ll do wraps tonight, or Brussels sprouts and sausage. I’ve got an hour to decide.

It’s time to get moving. Enjoy your days, my friends.
