Sweaty is the new black

There’s few things I like more than a good workout. This morning’s was no exception. It was hot upstairs, but I didn’t need to force myself through it. I finished up absolutely drenched to the skin.

Skin that is sloughing off as I type this, because even this morning’s shower couldn’t scrub all the bits and pieces of me off of me.

As planned, it was lower body. Lately, my routine has been a 15 move workout; I do each set for 45 seconds, rest for 15, then move to the next. Lather, rinse, and repeat a few times. I switched things up this morning and built a 10-move cycle. It was mostly squat and dead lift variations, but there were a few kettlebell moves to keep things interesting.

I feel awesome. Shawshank will be awake in a few minutes, I’ve already worked out for an hour, showered, and finished the episode of Dark I started last night.

I feel accomplished.
