Hello, world. The morning is here. We’re drinking coffee and watching news and seeing what happened in the overnight hours.

We did pretty much nothing yesterday. Shawshank made brunch for us, with me lending my skills to add some french toast to the meal. I got high and watched him play Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 until dinner time. I showed him how to tunnel through hills and run tracks underground. Eventually, after 3 hours of setup, he let people in the park.

I worked on my own park later. This is another park where I wanted some mountains, and coasters that go through them, and made a figure-8 shaped monorail that runs around the park. When I first finished the monorail, I hated it. I almost deleted it 5 minutes after I finished it, but forced myself to leave it and at least give it a fucking shot. The center of the map has two monorail stations fairly close together, plus a coaster station. There are some little hills as well, because I hate flat maps. I’ve started making wider “main street” style avenues, and spacing rides a bit farther apart. I fill in spaces with trees and hide wooded paths between the little hubs of activity that I build up around the stations.

Shawshank stuck me in a bubble bath to finish the night. It was hot.

We’re back to work today, for a few days in a row I think. I have some ideas for new ways to fuck with my guys, but haven’t implemented the system yet. If I didn’t have so many cords involved, I could put the laptop in my lap and probably get the system working while I stream, but I know the limits of my attention span. Five minutes into set up, I’d forget the guys exist.
