Good morning, y’all. It’s Tuesday, but the forecast claims we’ll see the first flakes of the season later today. Podrick woke me up to cuddle, stretching out beside me, pressing his head into my jaw, and kneading my pillow.

We had a nice day off yesterday. Shawshank made brunch for us, and I had my favorite: a plain bagel, toasted, sandwiching two slices of cheddar and some bacon. Once everything was cleaned up, he played Tropico. While el Presidente build up a tourist island, I put my hair in curlers and spent much of the afternoon reworking a bunch of my overlays in OBS. I have three main overlay areas, and they were all added at different times and do different things. The watermark came first, with one style graphic. There are two other “status” graphics that I use depending on what’s happening in the stream, which looked similar to each other, but were very different from the watermark. I wanted everything to match.

Most of the overlays are just HTML sources added to the scene in OBS, so it was a matter of making all the CSS match. At that point, my watermark looked very out of place, so I swapped it for one that matched. The old status graphics clashed with everything new, so I changed those as well. The main scene looks great…. but my BRB scene was still in the old style. I remade my BRB screen, and now everything – EVERYTHING – matches. The more I learn about what I can do with OBS, Advanced Scene Switcher, and my little control deck, the more I want a deck with more buttons.

We’ve got another full week ahead of us. I need to make some money, so I’ll be back on The Bean tonight.

Good morning, y’all! It’s a bright, sunny start to the new week. My internal calendar is utterly fired this week, and it being Monday was a bit of a shock. Mentally, I’m still on Sunday, with my brain refusing to believe Shawshank hasn’t already had two days off.

Sunday was nice. Shawshank played “Tropico” for most of the morning. I made a robot generate new CSS for me, helped move things so Shawshank could vacuum, and surfed Reddit for a while. I bounce between current events, pop culture news, and NSFW creator/camgirl shit. The hoes are being dumb again, not a week goes by where I’m not absolutely baffled by the depths of their stupidity. There are a lot of people who are legitimately just so fucking dumb that I worry for them.

• I just turned 18 and this is my dream! Where do I start? Research, and maybe ask yourself why this is your dream.
• I’m a 21M just opened my Onlyfans and I want to collab with older women [insert pic of the most average frat bro ever] can someone help? Bruh. Bruh.
• I just discovered all of my content has been leaked, what do I do? – inevitably followed by at least 20+ comments about how to find leaks, because they literally do not know how to search for anything on the internet.

I wanted to start playing “The Witcher 3” again. It’s been a while, and I needed to download all the DLC again, so I played some Balatro instead.

We invited Shawshank‘s mom over for dinner last night, since her birthday is this week. She walked over in her slippers, apologizing to Pod for forgetting to bring a toy for him. Shawshank made a roast and some potatoes, and we watched the original pilot to “Dynasty” while enjoying a nice dinner. We had some cheesecake for dessert, and sent his mom home with all the leftovers.

Today is another day off. I think I’m going to wash my hair and put it in rollers.

It’s Sunday, y’all. The winds have died down and the clouds have blown out, leaving clear skies and colder temps. It’s comfy sleeping weather, in my opinion.

I had a shitty shift yesterday. I stuck it out for a full shift, because I wanted to get online and maintain some sort of schedule. Mostly, I like doing something that’s not based on the couch. If I start fucking around, organizing shit or cleaning or clearing things out, I end up biting off more than I can chew and frustrated I can’t do what I want.

Last night was also the first time I’ve been in an ad while streaming.

I was doing my shit like normal, when I saw I suddenly had 49 viewers. Then 60-something. And it just kept going up.

Honestly, it freaked me out for a hot minute. I peaked at a little under 300 viewers, and I can confidently say they did absolutely jack shit to boost my place in the algorithm.

We have the next couple of days off. We’re hosting dinner tonight, and Shawshank‘s cooking a roast. I should put some clothes on.

Good morning, it’s the weekend, and it’s fucking windy out there today. The recent warm temps we enjoyed over the last two or three days are gone, replaced with wind warnings and thunderstorms last night. It made for a nice sleep, I think I crashed before my brain even registered what was playing in my headset.

I had a rough Friday. I didn’t work on Thursday, so I wanted/needed to work last night. Shawshank warned me he was probably going to be home early. My brain did that thing where it calculates how much time I have, then feeds me all the reasons why that’s not enough time to do things. Oh, you have five hours? Well, you’ll only have four by the time you finish setting up, less after you factor in resetting the room before he gets home. And it’s not like you’ll make any money in the first couple of hours, leaving only about an hour of money making. At that point, why bother logging in at all?

I logged in anyway. I might’ve earned a Happy Meal last night. Even if it’s not making good money, it’s some money. Not only that, but it’s more data in my vibe coded stat-sucker/analyzer. And that data is really interesting to see plotted out over time. If everything is working against me on CB – stream speed/quality, my niche content vs. the free porn – I really need to be using the hashtags that get me the most eyes. One of my earlier projects was a simple HTML file I could load up on one phone, with a bunch of buttons, each labeled with a hashtag I used. Tapping the buttons let me tally up the number of times I saw someone enter my stream via a hashtag search. It was good, but relied on me seeing and tapping.

My current system logs everything automagically. It slurps up info, then generates a graph of viewers and my room rank. Clicking on any point of the graph shows me anything happening in my room around that point, from 15 minutes before to 5 minutes after. One of my CB apps rotates my hashtags every 10 minutes, using three “permanent” tags and rotating in two from another list. Now, it’s stupidly easy for me to look at a massive dip or spike in the graph and see what hashtags my room was listed under at that point. Since I started looking at things this week, I’ve taken out three tags.

I can tell when I have someone tipping because the ranking graph will flatten out. When someone tips, another app updates my room title slightly, resetting the hashtags to five that are usually pretty consistent. Over the next few weeks, I want to use the spikes to figure out which tags I should be using in that second app. If my graph is going to flatten when they tip, then I want it to flatten out at a higher ranking.

Today’s the last shift though, then we have a couple of days off. We’re having Shawshank‘s mom over for dinner tomorrow. Tonight, I’m gonna be a hoe.

Hello, world. I woke up thinking it was Saturday, but I’ve been told it’s Friday. Part of my brain registered it was Friday when I saw the weekly Deku Deals email, but I immediately forgot. Podrick came up to snuggle a few times.

I took yesterday off. My plan was to enjoy the niceness of the afternoon, soak up some sunshine, play with the diabolo outside, and maybe stream after dinner. Things are getting smoother, and I’m getting a little more comfortable with maneuvering it along the string. At one point, I landed an actual trick (that I wasn’t trying to do in the first place), then stood there, diabolo spinning, wondering, what next? I think the biggest issue is generating enough spin on the diabolo. I know what I need to do, and I know how, but I’m terrified of breaking something. Anything. Could be the diabolo itself, my nose, my sunglasses, a cat, a window, the TV, the diabolo’s string. It doesn’t matter what that something is, really, but I’m gonna break it, and be sad, mad, or broke about it. So I play with that shadow of “something’s gonna break” every time I pick it – and any of my flow props – up to play with them.

After I’d tuckered myself out in the sun, I went inside. I threw some diabolo tutorials from YouTube up on the TV, figuring I should learn about the what next? part of the move. I had to stop watching; no good comes from watching intermediate and advanced moves when I can’t reliably get it in motion in the first place. It was still too early for dinner, so I went into the bedroom with the idea that I might clean up some shit before work. I thought if I tidied, I might come up with a new bedroom arrangement that would give me a better workspace.

Hours later, I had a trash bag full of shit I’d taken out of my dresser, the bed was covered in work “clothes”, and I was pulling 75% of the shit out of the closet. I had stuff all over the floor. While organizing my work stuff, I lost a glove from a Halloween costume. I had it when I started “tidying”. It was somewhere in the bedroom. I ended up tearing apart everything I’d just sorted and organized, dumping the bag of clothes I wanted to toss to go through all of those as well. In my head, I questioned whether I had one glove or two when I started sorting, because I couldn’t be this fucking stupid to lose a glove in the 10ft² of space that I literally haven’t moved from in an hour. I texted Shawshank that I was overwhelmed, and he promised to help pick up anything I wanted to leave. Eventually, the errant glove turned up, hidden behind a slab of wood, wedged behind some chairs. Unfortunately, by that point, I’d already exhausted all my spoons. Whatever spoons I added with outdoor fun were wiped out, along with my remaining daily spoon allotment.

I didn’t stream, I just cleaned what I could, ate a bagel, and I didn’t do anything else. I existed in the quiet house. Half an hour before Shawshank came home, I started working on Fansly stuff, but just couldn’t focus on it. I fucked around with an OBS overlay instead.

Hopefully, today is better.
