it was me as a doctor making people better

Good morning, world. We’re awake, a state we’ve been in since around 3:30am when Shawshank lost his sleep mask and Podrick decided it was morning. I don’t know who woke me, but it happened and I did the barely-dozing thing for the next three hours. Pod came up onto the bed a few times, sprawling himself across me and my pillow, to take a break from running through the house.

I put my big girl panties on yesterday, got on the bed, and worked. It wasn’t a bad shift, just boring in the usual ways. I made better money than the last few days of work. When I logged out, I reset the bedroom, fed Pippin, then fed me. I did half an hour of yoga after dinner, because I need to work on stretching more if I’m going to be sitting like a damned goblin. I’m still tweaking the little spreadsheet I made to track my stats. It logs info fabulously, but the dashboard is in a constant state of redesign as I figure out how I want to lay out the info.

Actually impressed with myself – I’ve been keeping to a schedule.

Is this life changing money? Nope. But I can buy our groceries– even some luxury items, like eggs.

Shawshank has two days off in a row. We’ve got some wrestling on the agenda, but I’m sure we’ll spend most of the time playing games and being layabouts. Things are pretty gray out there today, but it’s supposed to be much warmer than it has been. We’re going to the secondhand shop to look at other people’s junk.
