It’s finally Friday. Just one more day stands between us and the weekend. Chaucer is pacing.
Shawshank worked the closing shift last night, leaving me alone for an entire afternoon. Naturally, hijinks ensued. I played Just Dance for about an hour. I branched out again, skipping my daily curated playlist in favor of replaying a mix from the prior season. It went ok. I could brag about the fact that I achieved several high scores, but then I’d have to admit that all but one of those scores were on songs I’d never danced before.
After the dancing came the crafting. I worked on the necktie skirt for a couple of hours. The main part of the skirt is finished, I only need to build and sew in a waistband. Unfortunately, the waistband angered me, and the skirt remains unfinished.
I’ll finish it (eventually).
After filling myself with chicken nuggets, I streamed for a couple of hours. I played Skyrim. I may be boring and predictable when it comes to games, but I ousted the traitor, and concluded my takeover of the Thieves’ Guild. So there.
Shawshank is working the mid shift today, leaving me another full day to myself. I’m going to start things off with a shower and see how it goes from there.
