Can it be Friday night already?

Good morning, my lovely darlings. It’s finally Friday, and while it’s started with some gray skies, t’s supposed to be a great weekend. Today, we’ll be working with the Unnamed Pharmacist, so named because his accent is so thick we couldn’t understand him when he told us his name the last time he worked in our location. He’ll be covering a few shifts before MusicMan comes in as acting pharmacy manager. MusicMan has made it clear to the higher ups, he doesn’t want to be a manager.

The forecast for the weekend looks like it will be a nice few days. My plans aren’t anything amazing, as usual. Ideally, I’d like to be up and out of bed early enough to do a workout and the food shopping before lunch tomorrow. It’s going to be a lean week, I think. I didn’t buy very much last week that didn’t involve BossRPh‘s cake, and I shouldn’t need too much this week. Tonight is fun food night. I might do a repeat of last week’s Friday night: leave work, come home and work out, and then get a late dinner.

Shawshank‘s lockdown schedule has changed up due to the facility’s new social distancing rules. Unlike before, I’m no longer expecting a Friday night call. However, we didn’t talk about what time he would call tomorrow. Last weekend, he called in the afternoon. It was only sheer luck I was home to answer. If he calls after dinner, he’ll catch me at the start of #selfcaresaturday. He still hasn’t been able to talk to the ICE agent since court over a week ago. I feel helpless, not having answers for him. It’s not like he’s not trying either, he knows the sooner he can get out, the sooner we can figure out what our timeline might be.

Regardless of what time he calls, I want to spend some time outside. I need to clean up some of the yard. My goal is to pick up all the downed sticks and branches. If I finish early enough, I can play with the flowtoys for the afternoon. I also need to make arrangements to have the lawn mowed. My greatest hope is to catch my neighbor with the ride-on mower and offer him some cash to mow mine while he’s out.

God forbid I actually call someone to do it.
