a deadly virus on a cruise ship would make a great zombie movie plot someone call netflix

TGIF y’all. I’ve had a rough morning; I overheated and woke up too early, I pulled myself into a ball and now my joints hurt. Podrick laid on my chest, jammed his head under my chin, kneaded my pillow with his giant paws, and purred.

We had a nice day off. Shawshank played Saints Row: the Third for a couple of hours. He stole a few boats, then unlocked the ability to see “collectibles” (bonus money, sex dolls, etc) on the map, so he got to collectin’. I tracked my laptop’s progress across the plains, and it arrived in TinyTown around lunch time. Shawshank continued to play while I got myself reacquainted with Windows.

It’s a nice little laptop, and feels like a brick compared to both of my Chromebooks. I used Edge for a whole 2 minutes, long enough to download Chrome and set that as my default browser again. I made the switch to Linux back around 2012, and have had the Chromebooks for a couple of years now. I forgot setup wizards were a thing. I installed OBS and started configuring everything with the hope I could start streaming today. Sadly, I discovered that I can’t stream quite yet, because even though the laptop can handle Bluetooth things, it can’t talk to the toys without the official dongle acting as interpreter.

Thankfully, it was only $12, so not too pricey. However, I won’t say paying $10 on top of that for shipping doesn’t sting.

Today looks like it will be nice outside. Maybe I’ll play in the sun.
