Mal made out ok at the vet. I wasn’t able to bring them some poop, and I forgot all his records in my small cedar chest at Mom‘s house. The vet seemed to think Mal’s just got himself some GI inflammation. He got a steroid shot and I was sent home with 10 days worth of kitty probiotics. My poor little cat spent the rest of the afternoon high. I’m talking absolutely LIT AF.
He’s doing ok this morning. He ate a whole bowl of his breakfast with some probiotic powder. I’m sure I’ll have to deal with an explosion of foul cat ass later today.
I also found a Kindle in one of my boxes yesterday. After charging it, and excitedly trying to decide what pirated acquired literary masterpiece I wanted to read first, I unlinked it from Shawshank‘s Amazon account and collected it to mine. BOOM. No more books.
Now, I expected to lose the purchased stuff and wasn’t worried about them. However, I didn’t expect to wipe out the downloaded ones. I spent an hour loading up more books. Shawshank told me to read something I haven’t read yet. I’m reading something that’s typically in high school curriculum, but I never read it back then. I’m enjoying it, and will finish this afternoon.
It’s finally stopped raining. I’m already dressed for a workout. I’ll be outside before the heat gets to be too much. We’re going to Walmart to buy some more soil for her garden, and I want to pick up a couple of sweet potatoes. Maybe I’ll make it to the pho place.
