It's Friday and I feel like a cow. ⋆ chicky

Good morning, my lovelies. It’s finally Friday, and it’s sunny, and it’s not supposed to be freezing all day. This is good; maybe people will actually come in and pick up their shit. Our racks at pickup are stuffed to bursting. My tea is hot, tasty, and has enough caffeine to make me think it’s doing something. I woke up to $20 in my Paypal (THANK YOU!), so I might buy dinner tonight. Mal is snuggly, and so far hasn’t shit on the floor.

The day is still young.

There’s still time for poop.

Work was pretty steady yesterday. DayTech called it “steady but chill”. I work the late shift today. I’m kinda hoping I get a 9am text tomorrow morning with the new guy begging me to come in. Better rack up those hours while I still have a job.

I think I almost made one of my favorite regulars cry yesterday when she found out I was leaving. She’s one of the ones I’ll actually miss. After one of the ones we all hate left the counter yesterday, I did a happy dance about the fact that I probably won’t have to deal with him ever again. Unfortunately, there’s a lot of those patients. I’m considering writing a big post addressing all of them.

I don’t believe there’s any house showings today. I think I’ll bring the cabinet doors out of the basement this weekend. Maybe if I put them back on the cabinets, perhaps people won’t think they need to install completely new cabinetry. Shawshank emailed our agent the other day and let her know people still weren’t locking the house up when they left. When I came home on Wednesday, someone had locked both locks on the back door. Hopefully it was the second showing and not the first. I’m assuming that was the case, since I didn’t get a frantic phone call asking me to come unlock things.

I just got a request for a showing tomorrow, which is good. Hopefully there will be a couple of them over the weekend. Doubly so if I’m already working and don’t need to worry about leaving the house for it.

But…. it’s time to end today’s post. I need to head upstairs for a workout. I’ll leave you with the lovely Thursday morning sunrise over TinyTown.
