Greetings from lovely, scenic Rhode Island, where we’re currently on day 6 of record breaking temps and have a sky-rocketing number of Covid-19 cases. I’d like to add sunny skies to our description. Sadly, that’s not in today’s forecast. A hot cup of tea, however, is most definitely in the cards.
Half the street had their trash out when I finally came home last night. I checked the town’s trash pickup schedule, and Veteran’s Day isn’t one of the days that affects it. While my dinner reheated on the stove, I dragged the remains of the bed outside. After dinner, I brought several boxes, as well as the regular trash to the curb.
The agent will be here tomorrow morning at 10am, so I need to do some more cleaning tonight. I guess it’s fortunate things weren’t delayed with the trash. I can spend some time after dinner cleaning up the kitchen. My current dilemma is trying to figure out hot to best pack what clothes I’m bringing with me. There’s not too much, thankfully. I think half of what I’ve kept is simply work clothes. Unfortunately, there’s not a whole helluva lot of clothes that aren’t scrubs or workout gear.
I’m not sure how busy work will be today. I know the morning will start with one of our least favorite patients. She got into a screaming match with StressedRPh last night because we told her she couldn’t pick up her Adderall until after 10am. She’s pissed because she wants it as soon as we open at 9am. StressedRPh told her she was very rude and not a nice person. That was polite. She’s an absolute cunt, and she swears her doctor told her we’re the only pharmacy she can use. The reality is simply her doctor is the shadiest fucking doctor in the area and we’re the only chain who hasn’t blocked him entirely.
That’s an entire post on its own, actually.
Oh well. Time for a refill and some makeup. Let’s get the day started.
