It’s morning, y’all. We’re up early because Podrick was up. Both kitties wanted to visit us on the bed this morning. Thankfully, not at the same time. They’re incapable of snuggling together unless it’s under very specific conditions.
Yesterday was pretty damned boring. I worked, but things were pretty slow. Last week, I made a super basic way for me to see which hashtags people are coming in from most. Chaturbate lets us use up to five hashtags in our room titles. We can see what tag a member was looking at when they found us, but we don’t really have a way to track that info. Enter my Tap-Tracker: a simple HTML file with a button labeled for each tag. Each label has a number after it, and clicking/tapping the buttons increases the number. I split my screen so chat is on one side and the tracker on the other; since the laptop has a touch screen, I simply tap the tags as people enter. I’m not tracking any of it, but it’s a super simple way to see exactly what’s working at a glance. The first time I used it, I learned that one of my tags brought in only five people, so I swapped it out for a different one last night and saw some improvement.
We have today off. The snow seems to have stopped, aside from some very light flurries. We’re going to get dressed, go out to the secondhand store, and buy some stuff for dinner tonight.
