we don’t need no water

Good morning, folks. Welcome to yet another Thursday. We’ve got sunshine here, and strong coffee, and cats.

That can’t be all bad.

We actually left the house yesterday. Mom wanted to get a haircut, and left with something she actually liked for a change. While she was in the chair, I walked over to the GameStop nextdoor to see if there was anything good.

Spoiler alert: there wasn’t. They had a copy of the Subnautica 2-pack, but it doesn’t interest me enough to buy it new. Additionally, judging by the number of question marks that remain on the mini-map, I feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface of Witcher 3. That’s fine with me. It’s the absolutely perfect game for me – I run around and explore and kill shit. If I actually complete a quest in the process, it’s just a bonus.

After GameStop, I didn’t want to go right back to the hair place right away. I walked a little farther down the shopping plaza, and checked out the vape shop that’s there. While I love the shop I buy at, this other place is less than 5 minutes from the house. They’re definitely firmly in the vape shop classification. Walking in, you’re hot in the face with a scent that’s like a box of Fruity Pebbles fucked a Yankee Candle. They did have a small selection of the prefilled carts I use, so I bought one of the cheapest they had. If it’s good, well then I have a new option and I don’t need to go to the trailer place for another week. If it’s sucky, well, I’ve learned.

The rest of the day was spent arting in the backyard. It was another gorgeous day. I worked on house portraits of both Mom’s house and the house across the street. This is actually the second version of mom’s house.

I REALLY fucking hate the roofs in this area. They look fucking weird no matter what angle you stand at.

I think today is going to be similar to yesterday. There might be a doctor appointment. There might also be an afternoon of puff puff paint. We don’t know yet.
