Tuesday’s Gone with the Wind

Tuesday’s Gone with the Wind

Good morning, my friends. I trust you all woke up to a good Wednesday. If you didn’t, is there anything I can do to help?

Yesterday wasn’t altogether bad. I started the day with a good workout: 67 minutes, full body. I posted that the morning temperature was comfortable enough to do something, and it was – for about 15 minutes. I was drenched with sweat when I finished. However, I did finish, and it was a great workout. Shawshank also went out for a run. Before he left for TinyTown, Shawshank said he wanted to run in the mornings again. We both used to run regularly. We were never fast runners; when we entered races, our goal was to finish, not win. When I get up there in a few months, I’ll add regular runs to the arsenal of exercises.

At least the roads will be flat.

My shift was decent. When Shawshank asks, I usually say “not awful”. It’s never an amazing shift. An amazing shift would be one where we’re steady enough to keep busy, but not busy enough to be overloaded with work. An added bonus would be a day where no one yells at us for something we can’t control.

Either way, good shift or bad, I kept up with my goal to avoid extra snacks and soda. I left on time, and came home to a freshly mowed lawn. On Sunday, I prepped a bunch of chicken and bacon for dinners this week. When I came home, all I had to do was toss both in a pan to heat it up and dinner was made.

I finished up the day with the nightly call with Shawshank, and watching the last episode of Dark‘s second season. Tonight I might start season 3.

Since I have an early shift today, I can come home and take the auction photos I wanted to take yesterday. Dinner tonight is tikka masala, I only need to decide what to have for a protein. I have some chicken, tofu, quinoa, and eggs to choose from, and all day to decide.

Let Wednesday begin. I’ll try to make it a good one, and I hope yours is good for you!
