Greetings and salutations, world. I see a lot of fog out there this morning, and the forecast looks like we’ll have something similar to yesterday. I don’t think the temps are supposed to be as high, but it will be warm enough to hang a load of smallclothes on the line.
Yesterday was gorgeous. The fog burnt off and we had some glorious sunshine without a lot of clouds. A bit of a breeze, but not much. Just a little bit of humidity to make it feel warmer than it actually was. Mom went to her friend’s house, and I was left unsupervised. There was fun to be had.
I think I spent about an hour outside, and I don’t think I realized how badly I needed that time. Looking back, I haven’t really had that since before my trip. I went from warmish temps in November, to frozen tundra for about two months while I was in TinyTown, then another month or so of cooler weather here in Florida. Cosmic forces conspired to give me one good afternoon of sunshine, a perfectly shuffled playlist, and a puffy cloud of vapor that all combined to let me let go.
I don’t think there’s anything more than laundry in today’s plans. I’ll find my travel bag and pack some stuff for Tampa-ish. Maybe we’ll go out to buy road trip snacks.
