TGIMFF

Friday is here.

How many do I have left here? Not many.

Today is the coldest day we’ve have in the state in almost a year. The wind has made it beyond bitter out there. Shawshank calls it “ass-bitingly” cold. He has colder temps right now. His dad asked him how I would handle their idea of cold. Layers. Lots of layers.

Yesterday was a human day. I wore clothes, but I didn’t leave the house. Instead, I spent the entire day with the hot glue gun in my hand, cutting and gluing hundred-year old paper. Remember earlier this week when my uncle declined to take the collection of antique books? In that collection was a 1915 copy of Eugenics.

About 150 pages and probably 15 glue sticks later, and it was much improved.

I don’t need to do anything other than a workout today, some cabinet cleaning, and order dinner. Even if it was one of those days where I had to leave the house, I wouldn’t want to with the wind. Instead, I’ll do my workout, have some lunch, clean out two cabinets, and work on wreath #2 with the handful of glue sticks I have left.

The weekend is here.
