Good morning, world. How’s Tuesday? It’s just another day, right? It’s no Monday, or Friday, or the weekend. Tuesday just is.
I spent half of yesterday working on the bases for Shawshank‘s minis. Some of the stuff I’d primed for us on Monday night needed to be touched up again because I swear to god they have four dimensions. I started the 15 smaller bases, then moved on to the larger bases for the Nundam Wing unit. Everything will have the same “marble ruins in a grassy field” theme as the rest of the army.
Unfortunately, somehow our wires crossed and I thought we were painting and Shawshank thought we were watching movies all day. By mid-afternoon he was tired of waiting for me to come over to the couch and asked me to come snuggle with him. We finished up Outlander. Since we’d started the annual Twilight Saga binge and watched the first two movies on Monday night, we watched Eclipse, then took a break for dinner. The saga continued after dinner and we watched Breaking Dawn: Part 1. We’ll finish it tonight sometime. We’ll ugly cry.
Don’t judge me.
Today’s snow started just before Shawshank left for work. We’re not supposed to get that much, just a lot of little blowing flakes. He’ll be home for lunch in a little bit. When he goes back to work, I’ll start working on the bases and try to finish them all before I leave here in a couple of days. We have dinner plans for tonight, so I had to put clothes on today.
