Good morning, world. I’m up. It’s been a morning. Shawshank‘s morning note used the word “rocky”, which is perfect. We went to bed around 10ish. I woke up some time around midnight, then again when he got up an hour later. I’m pretty sure I woke up again just before his alarm went off.
I spent most of yesterday on the floor, in craft goblin mode. I’ve finished off the basic “outline” of the bloomers, aside from elastic. Before I install it, however, I want to add a ruffle trim to them. I’ve also started the experimental top to match. The top is going to be little more than a tube top with an attached ruffle. If I fail, I’m not worried. I have enough fabric to modify a bra to match the bloomers for the whole 45 minutes it’ll be worn. I’ll work on them some more this afternoon.
Aside from fabric, I don’t have much on the books for today. I’m going to try not to nap.
