open doors

Good morning, to the four of you might stumble upon and read this. I have a sunny Thursday in front of me, if I remember the forecast. There’s coffee, and cats.

I cut and pinned some fabric yesterday, but didn’t actually complete anything. At the moment, I only have two spools of thread, black and white. Those are fine for a lot of things, and in most cases they’ll work. However, if I’m going to sell this shit, then it should be finished with matching colors. Right? Right. Alas, that means no pants until I can get to the dollar store this weekend. I can probably make one pair right now, maybe two, if I’m desperate for activities.

The weather’s warm here. It’s not as bad as what my mom is dealing with in Florida, thankfully. The cats have spent the last two days sleeping more than anything else. I spun for a while in the afternoon, but my heart wasn’t in it, I guess. Later, I went outside for about half an hour after dinner. I had trouble getting into it; I kept interrupting myself. I was too warm, I wanted to swap poi, my earbuds died. Once again, I was forced to go inside when the bugs swarmed me. Something bit my ass. Heat-wise, I expect today will be as bad as, or worse than yesterday. We’re actually going to open the front door and get some airflow in here.

And that’s it. I’ll do things.
