Sunday thoughts

Morning, y’all. Happy Sunday. Shit’s overcast out there today, but it feels warm enough.

Yesterday felt incredibly long. I don’t know what it was, but everything about the day sucked. I wanted to do things. At the same time, I had too many things that I wanted to do. I almost feel like I need to make an actual fucking schedule to keep me on task.

I had a pair of pants that needed elastic, and some fabric pinned and waiting to start. But, I didn’t want to do those. After a lot of fighting with one sheet, I eventually had two more things cut and pinned into starter shapes. I ran the elastic, which finished another pair of Avengers pants, then started a new project. By that point, Shawshank came home from work. I continued working on the new pants for a couple of hours, but I fucked up pinning an ankle cuff in and sewed something in backwards. Frustrated with the thought of trying to delicately rip open 12″ of seam, I dejectedly put the pants away for the rest of the afternoon.

I honestly don’t even know what I did the rest of the day. I pretty much disassociated and mindlessly scrolled on my phone.

Shawshank has a load of clothes in the wash. We’re going to Shady Acres later this afternoon, and bringing my fire poi over so his father can possibly modify their handles. Other than that, I have nothing.
