North American Tramp Stamp Butterfly

Good morning, my people. I’m staring down the barrel of another hot day here. According to everyone I’m talking to this morning, it’s that way everywhere this week, from here, to Sweden, to Canada.

I should at least try to do a workout before it gets too hot today.

Shortly after I made yesterday’s post, I received a call from the garage about the truck. None of the doors would open. I warned them on Tuesday when I dropped it off. Due to some issues I had unlocking it last week, I was worried none of the doors would open if they locked it. From the outside, the key fob tried to work, but since it wouldn’t unlatch the driver’s side, it wouldn’t unlock any side. The driver’s door is the only one with a keyhole, and the lock wouldn’t budge to unlock, either with key or the door latch. Everything seems to hinge on the driver’s side lock, and if that one doesn’t work, you’re fucked.

And they locked it.

When I hadn’t heard anything else from them by mid-afternoon, I assumed they were able to get in. My assumptions were correct, they managed to get in and confirm the actuator gave up the ghost. They ordered the part, and I should have the truck back this afternoon.

I spent the afternoon and evening alternation between poi and games. The poi was a fun mix of practice and plain old flow. I’m really working to try to vary things, but results have been mixed.

Once I smooth things out with the newer moves, I think the variety will come along on its own.

Today will probably be more of the same. I expect a call about the truck sometime this afternoon. That’s fine with me, since I have no way to get it until Brian comes home from work.
