Hello, world. Happy fucking hump day. It’s sunny out, which is a good way to start the day. I have coffee, which is also helpful.
We enjoyed a very slothy Tuesday, where we mostly sat around in scrub clothes. I put on proper pants and underthings in the afternoon, and we went out to the secondhand store. We both found things we liked, but put them back due to logic. Shawshank didn’t want to spend all his money on a blueray player without a cable, and I didn’t want to add more fabric to the pile, no matter how fun Jurassic Park pants would have been. We headed to Shawshank‘s work to grab Slush Puppies and a vape, then returned home.
I spent most of the afternoon playing Balatro. I’m slowly, sloooowly getting better with Purple stakes. Later, Shawshank stashed Podrick in the bedroom for half an hour so I could do some sewing. I was able to gather up the openings and pin the ankle cuffs of the pants I’ve been working on. With any luck, I can put him away for an hour or so and finish them sometime this week.
