Nine Days
Good morning, world ☕
This week is really going to hell. Today will be the third day that the other tech is out sick. Last night was a shitshow, because it was my late shift and The Annoying One couldn’t call me in early because that would have forced me to work nearly open to close. I’m going in an hour early because it’s the fill in pharmacist again. I’m sure he’d be ok without help for an hour, but the shit can hit the fan very quickly in pharmacy world.
Nine more days until I get a break.
The heat wave has finally broken, which makes everything a lot more comfortable. I hate being sticky and sweaty, especially since Mal is a snuggler, and needs to be as close to his humans as possible at all times. I’m hoping to get some outside time this week, now that it’s more comfortable to be outdoors. Even if it’s just a walk, I’d love to get some fresh air.
I’m looking forward to the weekend, when my shifts are shorter. What’s happening this weekend in your corner of the world?
Hi Crystal – depending on the weather, may get the touring bike out, do some back roads cruising. If the weather isn’t cooperating, we’re planning on breaking out some old board games and having fun with that! Hope your shift and the rest of this week and weekend go as well as possible! 🙂

I’m hoping the weekend goes ok for you, cruising around beats all! Thankfully, my weekend shifts are only 3 hours each, but it’s the middle of the day, which makes any all-day plans out of the question. We’ll have all the fun an excitement of doing laundry and good shopping. 😆
