Hello, world. The new week officially starts today, unless you’re one of those madmen that uses Monday as the start of the week. It’s sunny and clear and if this were any other world it might even be warm out there. But I know where I am, and where I am is still stuck in late winter. Podrick was mostly good, amusing himself with a bottle cap. Unfortunately, his mass makes it impossible for him to play quietly.

We had a lovely Saturday. Shawshank worked, and I spent the entire morning watching “Grey’s Anatomy“. Podrick was a bit of an asshole, but settled down after I took away access to his hyperfixation: destroying the bedroom. Shawshank came home around lunch time, and we drove out into the world.
We made good time, and finished up the shopping pretty quickly. Pharmacy, discount store, then groceries. Back into the truck to go across town for weed and sandwiches. The dispo was running some 420 sales, so I grabbed some gummies for us. We were back home with time to spare before “Wrestlemania” started at 4pm.
The matches were short and … I won’t say they were necessarily disappointing, but definitely lacking. The women’s matches were very short. A 6-person tag team match and it’s over in less time than it takes to cook a frozen pizza? WTF is up with that? And every match felt like that though– rushed and badly planned. I really enjoyed watching Bron Breakker tearing ass down the ramp. If that spear had properly landed, he would have separated Seth Rollins’s torso from his legs.
We’re not leaving the house today. Shawshank‘s parents have a drive ahead of them tomorrow, and they don’t need to be entertaining us. We’ll have brunch and watch more wrestling.
