Morning, y’all. Happy Thursday from the little flat in the prairies. We’ve got a bright one here, the sun was streaming through the kitchen window when we got up this morning. The wind has to stop eventually, right?
RIGHT?
The cats decided they can share the foot rest. In most cases, if Chaucer is up there first, Pippin will climb up and snuggle up with him. Usually the snuggles involve her walking over him until she finds the perfect spot to drop down. Chaucer, for what it’s worth, doesn’t get up immediately anymore. He’s not at the level where they’re completely relaxed together, but they find a way to coexist on their bed – most of the time.
I spent yesterday doing things, and even assumed a human form before lunch. I had planned to take a lot of pics in the bedroom. Pippin had her own plans, and dug into the blankets like a sandworm, leaving a little trail under the blankets. I left her in her tunnel, and took some pics in the living room instead. If I wanted to, I could “continue” the shoot today; it’s not as though my makeup would be difficult to recreate.
I’m working on hustling more aggressively. Until this point, my method of earning has been like a tip jar in a McDonalds. There’s a lot of combo meals and a dollar menu, but the clientele largely ignores the jar. This week, I’m trying to work things less like a tip jar, and more like a pre-filled 25% gratuity option at the register that I hope the customers ignore.
I plan to do more things today. I want to wash my hair this morning and spin some poi this afternoon. Maybe I’ll finish yesterday’s shoot and take more pics after lunch. It’s going to be a day, and I’m in the mood to manifest some creative juices.
