little cat, little stitches
The sun is shining, there’s crime stories on TV, and I have coffee. Welcome to Sunday in TinyTown.
I was sociable yesterday, and logged into TikTok for a “get ready with me” morning. It wasn’t all that exciting– I’m no beauty guru so they never are. A lot of the regular viewers came in to say hi and chat. A few have reached out in my DMs in the last month or so, so I figured I should make an appearance. I went from near-daily streams for a couple of years, to almost nothing. Nowadays, I might post a video a month on TikTok. I’m more apt to post stories.

After I assumed the human form, I played some Civ until Shawshank came home. I turned off my game and let him play what he wanted. He drove around in a fast car for an hour or two. I pulled out my needlework and made some progress.
The cardboard thread organizer was starting to piss me off, and I don’t have a stash of those little cardboard “spools” that seem to grow in the houses of old ladies. I don’t want to devote money to this unless/until I actually finish a couple of projects. Let’s not forget that I hate spending money in general, and I haven’t made shit since I started camming again. My cheap ass cut up a tissue box and numbered them, then wound up the threads. It’s still not a pretty solution, but at least the embroidery floss no longer looks like a cheap hair track. Even though it looks bad and the thread isn’t staying very well, it’s much easier to just have 2-3 “spools” next to me instead of 31 colors hanging loose.
Shawshank asked if we were going to hang up the needlework. I haven’t decided what I’ll do with this one. With most of my craft projects hobby obsessions, he’ll take the first completed project for himself.
We’re going to Shady Acres to help clean up a bit this afternoon. Shawshank‘s parents are downsizing and getting their house ready to go up for sale, and we’re going over to assist in the prep.
