Literally Bullshit.

Good morning, my lovelies. It’s Sunday morning, and it’s a beautiful blue sky out there today. Unfortunately, we’re still in single digit temps (I woke up and it was 7°F/-14°C). Additionally, it’s literally the calm before the storm.

Tomorrow, we can expect snow. Unfortunately, we’re also one of those places where we’ll see either nothing, or way more than expected. Honestly, I’m not even sure what the expected total is. Every time they show a weather report, the snowfall totals are different. The snow/rain mix line keeps moving, they don’t know when it’s supposed to start.

I’ve been wondering about upgrading my phone before I travel. A trip down to Florida with this phone doesn’t worry me. I don’t plan on doing much more than two nights on the road, in hotels, nothing fancy, surrounded by civilization. I’m a little more worried about a few months from now, when I’m travelling around the country with a 4 year old phone that is showing its age now. I’ll look into it a bit more once I have less shit to worry about.

Yesterday, I made a point to actually have a human day and be a functioning adult. First, I did a workout. Then, since I didn’t want to deal with pre-storm bullshit today, so I went out to the grocery store yesterday. Shawshank suggested I buy something yummy for my Saturday dinner, so I bought myself some shaved steak and some gorgonzola, with chocolate chunk cookies for dessert.

Ugh…. I’m still in this house.

I boxed up more of the stuff I’ll travel with. If the weather wasn’t so bitter, I would put some things into the truck now. I’m terrified in two weeks or so, when I’m ready to turn over the keys, I’ll discover I can’t fit everything. Right now, I have a lot of boxes labelled with what’s inside, in case I need to make a hasty decision at the very last minute.

Someone should be here today to buy my tool box. Thankfully, that “sold” pretty quickly, the buyer wants to come out today. He said he would message me at 9 am to get my location. I messaged him at 9:30 to ask if he was still interested. It’s a bit after 10 now, and he hasn’t replied.

I might layer up and put some stuff in the truck before the snow comes. If the guy picks up the tool chest, I may go out to the “flower shop” and pick up some weed-goodies one last time before I head down to Florida. No workout today, just some more cleaning, followed up with crafting.

Tomorrow, I have an appointment in the morning for another junk crew to give me an estimate on removing some of the furniture that hasn’t sold yet. I have a few pieces I can’t haul out myself, and I’m not very optimistic they’ll sell. Tuesday I should have the fire inspection, but who knows what will happen with that and the coming storm.

Whatever. It’s time for pants.
