Lenny Bruce is not afraid

Good morning, folks. Welcome to The Hump. Yesterday’s overcast weather continues, and I’m sure it will be another chilly day. The two of us had shitty sleeps, because cats be cats. Pippin was having a grand old time running The Great Tromp around the house around 3am. There was a release party for the latest in mystery literature, Nancy Drew and the Case of the Hidden Cat Puke, which came out everywhere overnight.

I won’t spoil the ending for you.

Both cats are snuggled up now, acting like neither of them had anything to do with the overnight shenanigans that kept us awake.

I spent yesterday afternoon up in Shawshank‘s shop after lunch. I put all my pharmacy skills to work and sorted upholstery swatches. It didn’t take long, and putting hard copy prescriptions in numerical order for filing was always my favorite downtime work. I think it was about an hour and a half of work, and got me out of the house for a little while. Shawshank said he’d invoice his boss for my help.

Aside from helping Shawshank at work, I tried to fit some spin time into my afternoon. The weather was a bit too cold to go outside, unfortunately. Consequently, I busted out the sockpoi and worked on stuff in the living room. I would post some video, however, I put the camera in the wrong place. The moves I was practicing don’t look very good from anything other than the front.

We don’t have anything planned for today. Shawshank‘s shop is actually open today, so I won’t be helping there this afternoon. I want to do some yoga and spin some poi. If I’m bored enough, I’ll slap some more experimental makeup on my face in the afternoon.
