It’s getting better. I’m still nowhere near 100%, but it’s better than it was yesterday morning.
Unfortunately, being sick has forced me to cut out my workouts. I still do my morning yoga, but the strength workouts that we do a few nights a week have been cancelled in favor of snuggling under a heavy blanket on the couch. So now I’m sick and miserable, on top of being anxious about the lack of workouts and the voice in my head calling me a fat-ass failure because I’m too sick to drag myself upstairs and do squats with bad form because I’m too sick to do them.
I’m looking forward to this upcoming long weekend. I’ve just got to get through these next two shifts.
