It’s the end of the week

Happy Friday, people. It’s another sunny day, the laundry is running. They’re talking about another hot day down here. Beach weather, even. I’ve been here almost 6 months, and I’ve been on the beach ONCE. That was the second night I was here. I haven’t even been in a pool.

Maybe I’ll put on a bathing suit and spin some poi in the yard for a little while. With today’s humidity, we’re looking at nasty, NASTY heat today. A bathing suit would probably be the most comfortable way to spend more than 10 minutes in the yard. The heat press a damper on the morning workouts, so that random hour of (barely)cardio is very appreciated.

Since the weekend is here, the agenda is much of the same bullshit. Brian will probably finish mowing the lawn. We’ll go out and buy food for the week. I’m pretty sure we’ll be invited over to the Compound for dinner tonight or tomorrow. Brian’s parents are going north for a couple of weeks, taking his uncle to clean out a storage unit. They’ll want to see us Brian before they leave.

The order that all these things happen is the only thing not really set in stone.

For the moment, I’m going to put on some clothes and try to be an adult. Enjoy your days 😊
