According to my phone, it’s Boxing Day. Shawshank is currently putting a DVD in the new player his parents gave him. It works, and we’re watching “Rock of Ages“.
I video chatted with Mom for a little while last night. She had a decent day, aside from the trip to the Compound. Drunk Uncle was there, so she said it was everything she could have expected. My sister FaceTimed her with my nephews so Mom could watch them unwrap their gifts.
Today’s going to be a typical Sunday. There’s nothing planned, and we don’t need to leave the house. We’ve been told to expect some snow today and into tomorrow. Since Shawshank doesn’t have work again until Tuesday, it’s not really a problem for us. Since we both received some Warhammer minis for Christmas, we’ll more than likely both work on those for a little while. We might walk over to drop the the truck off at Shady Acres. We’re planning to make leftover turkey sandwiches for dinner.
It’s a nice quiet day.
