Good morning, world. It’s Friday, and it’s a sunny one. Aside from the day of the week, it’s been a morning like any other. I overheated and woke up around 5:30am, as usual. I edited a couple of videos, then watched some TikToks.
Yesterday was a shitty afternoon. I spent a lot of the morning watching Shawshank play the new game, “Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom“. Once Shawshank left, I set up all the shit to shoot smut. I had plans, y’all. The theme was “tighty-whitey gamer girl”, and I wanted to make it authentic. The Switch had other plans. Its dock/plug is exceedingly finicky about its position in the wall socket, and the console insisted it couldn’t connect to the TV. Sometimes, it does similar shit, but it usually works itself out after an hour and/or reboot. Yesterday, however, the system decided “haha, fuck you, no“. Nothing I did worked.
I angrily took my pics, ignoring the controller entirely out of annoyance. I haven’t even really looked at the photos because I was so annoyed with the situation. Two hours later, I successfully aligned all the pieces of the puzzle and had everything working. I spent a blissful evening playing the game. My initial observation still stands- it’s fucking adorable. I love all of the puzzle shit. If the Switch remake of “Link’s Awakening” is as fun, it’s definitely going on my wishlist.
Today, I’m going to play some more. What I’m not going to do is chew the inside of my mouth to bits in frustration for a second day in a row. Tonight is Shawshank‘s last shift for the week, so we’ll have two days off to play.
