Green stuff, and paint stuff, and snails.

Happy Humpday, internet. My skies are gray, but the forecast claims the sunshine is coming. I can believe it. The air is thick with humidity already. We’re told the temps are supposed to feel about 10°🦅 hotter than reality.

Yesterday’s storms blew through pretty quickly. I had lunch and brought stuff outside pretty early compared to my normal “schedule”. The weather forecast said we had a chance of afternoon rain, and I wanted to take advantage of the sun before the weather could change again. First up was cleaning the Apothecarium’s glass. Everything looks nice and clean.

The Great Snail Uprising continues with more popping out over the last day.

I did a little bit more work on the Südwestkirchhof Stahnsdorf chapel, mostly some lining. For the most part, I worked on the Marshall Point Lighthouse. I hate rocks. I suck at rocks.

I should not paint rocks.

While I was outside, I braved the yard wildlife and checked out the birdhouse. Mom hung this little decorative birdhouse on a pole near some of her feeders last year, not expecting anything to ever live in it. We started seeing bluebirds flying into it a couple of months ago. Lately, they’ve been pretty aggressive with the birds at the other 4 feeders. I figured they might have some babies in there, but it’s difficult to get a good look without getting too close and/or touching the house. Bingo, baby bird.

I don’t think we have anything planned for the day. I’m considering running a load of wash, but it’s pretty damned cloudy still and I’m not certain I want to trust the weather report. We’ll see what happens. I’m in a bit of a funk lately, and I don’t feel like doing much at all.
