Hello, world. The sun’s up, and the day looks pretty clear so far. I woke up around 5ish, and after fighting consciousness for an hour, decided I wasn’t sleeping anymore and grabbed my phone. The headline I wanted wasn’t there this morning, so I perused some moderately boring Reddit posts instead.
We had a nice, relaxing Wednesday. Shawshank shaved our heads in the morning. I took the chance to roll my hair on sponge curlers for a 24-hour set. We moved everything out of the living room so we could vacuum. He went over to his parents to return the vacuum and move something out of the basement. We avoided as much of yesterday’s breaking news as possible. We watched “Interview With a Vampire” in the afternoon. It’s been way too long since I last watched it, and it’s still one of my favorites.
“I’ve never read the books, was Lestat supposed to be so… gay?” asked Shawshank.
“Gayer”, I replied.
I used that as a chance to talk about how I enjoyed Ann Rice’s vampire and witch series, but the Sleeping Beauty series was better, from an editing standpoint. “She’s like George R. R. Martin and gives you the entire family tree”, I explained, “but in the case of ‘The Mayfair Witches’, that means you get an entire chapter about one guy, explicitly detailing how fucks his daughter, then she has a daughter, then he fucks that daughter, and then fucks her daughter, for six generations.”
Also, I delivered this speech in my jammies, curlers in my hair, pipe in one hand, and wearing sunglasses in the kitchen.
I sewed up some of the Halloween costume’s hat, gathering up the edge of it, then gathering up a ruffle and pinning it to the main piece. I haven’t sewed them together yet, as I didn’t want to haul the sewing machine out to sew 24″ worth of edge and put it back. Considering how much ruffle this will end up with, I think I might actually sew it up by hand. I’ll lose some speed, certainly, but I won’t be nearly as frustrated trying to wrestle a 6ft of ruffle into a spiral.
Shawshank has work today and tomorrow night. I’m planning to stream both nights. I’m trying to work out a “schedule” that gives me more time on smutty streams, but still lets me stream on TikTok at some point during the day as well. I want to keep the camming to a proper schedule, as I feel like the consistency will be better for finding a “fan base”. At the same time, I want to keep the TikTok stuff going, as it’s a great funnel to the pay sites.
Once the weekend comes, we’ll relax.
