Good morning, world. Happy Monday. It’s a marshmallow world out there, as usual. A damned cold marshmallow, at that. We’re checking in at -16° this morning. I’ve been awake and doing that doze-y thing for a couple of hours, as usual. The cats allowed us to loiter in the bed without being too pushy about wanting breakfast.
Zeppelin’s still visiting us almost daily. He got into some sort of scrap over the weekend, and he’s sporting a small injury by his ear. I’m hoping he has someplace to hide this week, because it’s just way too cold out there for anything to live outside.
Some townie kids built a snow fort in their front yard, and it’s every kid’s dream fort.
They started building the pallet “foundation” shortly after my arrival in October. There’s probably about a dozen pallets making up the walls and ceiling. From that point, it was simply a matter of waiting until we had a hefty enough snowfall. I’m sure one of the many little tractors in town helped with dumping the snow on it.
Unlike most Mondays, we have stuff to do today. Shawshank‘s going to go over to Shady Acres in a couple of hours to help unload an appliance. Later, we’re going out to Slightly BiggerTown this afternoon. We’ll check out the dispo while we’re there and see what sort of wild last-minute Christmas sales they have today.
Oh I need to get my Oklahoma medical license and make a run to the border. The last time I was there in Roland, one of the dispos had 22 g of concentrate for 100 bucks. Supposedly the lowest price in the country. I feel the need for weed lol.
Stay warm!
We frequently see sales of 28g of flower for about $50 USD, but aside from the 1ml carts we buy, I don’t really see concentrates in the shops we go to. We picked up a great deal the other day when we went out, getting two carts, a bunch of pre-rolls, a tray, and a nice bubbler for about $90.
