Good morning on this sunny Friday morning. The question is…. will it stay sunny? We woke up to the very same sunlight yesterday, and it was snowing by the time I streamed in the afternoon. Podrick is being himself, obsessively trying to reach Shawshank‘s plants. Unfortunately, it’s too cold this morning for us to open the back door and let them watch the birds.
Yesterday was the first test of streaming from the beanbag. It’s big enough to take up most of the space between the dresser and the bed. I can make a decent little throne out of it, wrapping the quilt around it like a giant dumpling skin. It was incredibly comfortable. My “set” looks a little sparse at the moment. I’ll have to get a screenshot of the view and brainstorm what I might be able to add. At the moment, it has absolutely no personality. It’s got a very public access feel to it. Maybe I’ll add some string lights in the background today.
My first two hours went by pretty quickly, I took a quick break to pee and fluff the bag. Chat was slow, my ranking sucked the way Thursday and Friday nights generally do. I considered logging out, but logged in for another go and stuck it out for four hours and doubled my tokens. I’d made some Thursday money by then (and I was hungry) so I logged out and reset the bedroom. I made sure the household was fed, then plunked my ass on the couch to play some Civ.
Today’s going to be about the same. I’m interested to see what the light in my corner is like on an actually sunny afternoon.
