cuffs and lewds and thready bullshit

Good morning, world. We’re over the hump, and sliding downhill towards the weekend. Things are looking a bit drab out there this morning. However, we’re just barely cracking sunrise here. There’s plenty of time for blue skies^* later.

I channeled all my energy into DOING THE SHIT yesterday. I spent all afternoon “working”, such as it is. Shawshank went back to work, and I “punched in” for the day. I set up my backdrop sheet and ring light, put on something cute, and shot some smutty pics for a bit. When I had taken enough, I put my clothes back on and moved on to crafting.

I really wanted to start prepping the neckties I picked up. In a remarkable show of restraint, I haven’t done anything with them yet, because I have things I need to finish first. Instead of ties, I continued working on three WIP pairs, doing the tedious shit. One fleece pair is finished, aside from elastic, and I only need to sew the ankles in the second pair before they’ll be ready for the same. I worked on the third pair I have kicking around, installing the waistband. The fabric is very pretty and runs through my machine like a dream, but actually working with it is awful. It loses threads and strings at the mere thought of touching its edge. I take solace in the fact I only have the ankle cuffs to deal with before I can call them finished.

I didn’t want to deal with the thready-bullshit all afternoon. When I reached a point where I would need to swap thread in the machine before I could do anything else, I cleaned up my mess instead. I spent the rest of the day editing the photos I took. That process is an absolute slog, requiring two different photo editors. It wouldn’t be nearly as painful if I could do it all in one app. Nope. Not happening. I do all my photo editing in Photoshop, then do the watermarks in Snapseed. Snapseed doesn’t have editing like Photoshop. Unfortunately, Photoshop doesn’t have the font I like for watermarks.

Let me tell you, there’s nothing quite like editing 75 lewds of yourself twice.

I’m not 100% sure what I’m going to do today. There’s some pants to finish, of course. I uploaded all the smut to Fansly overnight, but I still need to come up with captions and schedule posts. On top of all that, I’m hoping to make some spin time happen this afternoon.
