Morning, y’all. Happy Friday. Another gray and dreary morning in the grass. I felt drizzle when I was out on the patio this morning. I haven’t looked at the forecast for today. If today is anything like yesterday, the afternoon might be sunny. My body is starting to dry out. Lotion season is here.
I was sorta lazy yesterday. I watermarked roughly half the photos I took on Wednesday. Like filling the bobbin or managing shop listings, watermarking is another of those tedious parts of “the craft”. While Fansly automatically watermarks uploads, it’s added to an edge and very easily cropped off. I can’t make a template and automate it, as I don’t put the watermark in the same spot every time.
Eventually, I loaded up Skyrim and Tiktok. I was social again.
Today’s project is coming up with a price for the custom video someone asked for. I have no idea what to charge. If it was a quick, simple video, I’d have no problem. In this case, he’s looking for a 10-minute video. Right off the bat, that’s work: ten minutes of any content will be costly. No one is charging $1/min for custom videos, and I’d hazard a guess that the average is closer to $5/min, with most established, popular creators charging upwards of $10/minute. Additionally, he wants forced foot worship, humiliation, degradation, like the trifecta of fetish content.
Fetish content like that would be an upcharge for pretty much any creator. I may not understand it, but I’m willing to go for it. I’m trying to keep the mindset of “don’t undersell yourself”. At the same time though, I have no experience with this, and thus feel like I can’t charge a premium.
I’ll figure it out. Generally, creators don’t record custom content without payment up front, so I probably should discuss the price. If I’m in the mood to try it today, I could record something and price it at something ridiculous. If he doesn’t buy it, it’s not as though it goes to waste. I can simply offer it as PPV later.
Shawshank has a shift today, then the weekend off. We’ll kick off the weekend with a visit to the better of the two restaurants in town. Right now, I need to kick off my morning.
