Good morning, world. It was sunny when I woke up 3 hours ago, but now the skies have clouded over and it’s looking a bit drab out there. Podrick was in good boy mode for much of the time, and we cuddled until Pippin started waking up. Once Pip was awake, Pod was off the bed and after her. I pulled her into the bedroom before he could pounce on her, and let her have a morning snooze on the bed. She needs a break from him.
I opted to do fun things yesterday, kicked off by asking Shawshank which figure(s) I should take off the shelves and paint. When he left for work, I went outside for some spin time. After a few songs, the sun was in my eyes too much, and I kept losing tosses. I went back inside and played some Just Dance until I was too warm, then found something else to work on. I played some Balatro before dinner, coming very close to winning on whatever stakes I’m trying to beat on the Plasma Deck. While dinner cooked, I set up the kitchen table so I could stream and paint.
Painting went ok. I managed to have 15 minutes of peace before I had to lock Podrick in the bedroom because he kept jumping on the table.
I expect today to be similar. Hopefully that cats behave.
