Hello, planet Earth and whatever else out there reads this. Today would be Thursday, and we have sunshine for the moment. I think the forecast should be sunny and clear all day. This means we can expect more hot weather this afternoon, even though today is technically the end of summer.
Yesterday, Mom took my truck and went out to clean her friend’s house. I stayed home. Just as I was thinking about possibly going out front to spin and soak up some sunshine, the garbagemen showed up, emptied threw our bags in the truck, then took their lunch break right in front of the house. While I know my neighbors watch me spin, that’s after dark and I can’t see them because they sit behind the shrubbery in front of their porch. It’s an entirely different thing for me when the audience is obvious, and it’s broad daylight.
I mostly perused the various shit I’m addicted to, then played Subnautica for the rest of the day. Taking the laziest route, I solved the problem of the missing moth by building a new moth.
I fully intend to go back and pull the upgrades out of MOTHRA I and put them in MOTHRA II at some point. I need to go back into that cave anyway. Most of yesterday was devoted to swimming around and trying to find other blueprints. The reefbacks aren’t quite as terrifying as they were when I first encountered them. At one point, there were five of them swimming around me. I still give them a wide berth.
Oh, and then there’s this new nightmare. I could hear it before I saw it.
Since we’ve been in a clear stretch of weather, I went outside for a bit of spin time. While the toads have moved on, I saw a little green tree frog. I was outside spinning for about 25 minutes, which was great. Unfortunately, I only recorded about 10 minutes worth of video. I’m having a lot of issues with running the camera lately. The worst part? I had an absolutely amazing toss that I caught. We’re talking way up in the air, switching the un-tossed poi to the empty hand, and catching the tossed poi. AND, I kept going. I was so stoked to show it off, only to discover I didn’t hit 
RECORD again.
I’m planning to go to the thrift store today. I have a bag of clothes to donate, and I want to find a suitcase. The clinic cancelled Mom’s appointment, so the day is free for the taking.
