the 90’s called

the 90’s called

Good morning, and happy Saturday. I’m looking at sunny skies, and almost warmth outside. The long range forecast predicts a bit more warmth as we move through next week. Last night, they were calling for some rain, and this morning they’re not calling for as much. Shit can change.

Next weekend’s weather doesn’t matter. We won’t be here, we’re going to be 6 hours away at a craft festival. So it matters, just not this weather.

After poking around Etsy for a week, I found myself something(s) for a birthday gift.

Both are dresses that I loved back in the 90’s. I actually had one of them back in high school; it was one of my favorite outfits. As for the other, it was more popular the year or so after I graduated. While it was totally adorable, I thought it was too “young” for me. Mind you, I was probably all of 19 years old. Now I need to find some 8-hole Doc Martens and I will complete my transformation.

This isn’t even my final form.

I haven’t heard anything from either of the job listings I applied to. One of them actually looked at my resume yesterday, which I guess is a good thing. Maybe I’ll get a phone call. There were about 30+ applicants, so I’m not too nervous about being in the running.

Today, grocery shopping. I need to buy some bagels and a phone new charger.
